FULBRIGHT PROGRAM
The Fulbright Program, the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government, offers grants to study, teach and conduct research for U.S. citizens to go abroad and for non-U.S. citizens to come to the United States.
More than 325,000 participants鈥擜mericans and foreign citizens鈥攈ave been awarded Fulbright grants in an effort to increase 鈥渕utual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries鈥 through academic and cultural exchange.
There are approximately 155 countries worldwide where Fulbright operates through partnerships between the U.S. and foreign governments.
U.S. STUDENT PROGRAM
The allows grant recipients to meet, work with, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences and allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others鈥 viewpoints and beliefs.
Interested 棉花糖直播 students should join the Fulbright Blackboard Site by searching 'fulbright' under the 'Available for Self-Enrollment' tab in the 'Organization Catalog' on your home page.
Alumni applicants should email CRF for Blackboard access instructions.
The English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Programs place Fulbrighters in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to the local English teachers. ETA鈥檚 help teach English language while serving as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. The age and academic level of the students varies by country, ranging from kindergarten to university level. Applicants for ETA Programs can apply to only one country.
Applicants write a 1 page Personal Statement and a 1 page Statement of Grant Research
The Study/Research Award allows applicants to design their own projects and work with advisers at foreign universities or other institutes of higher education. The study/research awards are available in approximately 140 countries. Program requirements vary by country, so the applicant鈥檚 first step is to familiarize themselves with the program summary for the host country. Field-specific grants (Business, Journalism & Communications, Sciences & Public Health) and graduate degree grants are also available.

US-UK SUMMER INSTITUTES
Participants in the Fulbright US-UK Summer Institutes get the opportunity to experience an exciting academic program at a highly regarded UK University, explore the culture, heritage and history of the UK, and develop their academic ability by improving presentation, research, and communication skills.

ALUMNI AMBASSADORS
was established in 2008 to identify, train, and engage a select group of approximately 15 Fulbright U.S. Student Program alumni each year to serve as representatives, recruiters, and spokespersons for the Fulbright Program. Fulbright Alumni Ambassadors come from an array of different ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, states, fields of study, institutions; they have participated in the Fulbright U.S. Student Program in all world areas.

- Provide testimonials about their Fulbright experiences at conferences and campus presentations

FACULTY FULBRIGHT OPPORTUNITES
The Core Fulbright Scholar Program offers nearly 470 teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others.
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program also offers 15 postdoctoral awards that are open to American citizens who have recently completed their doctoral degree 鈥 typically within the five previous years. In addition to several new program models designed to meet the changing needs of U.S. academics and professionals, Fulbright is offering more opportunities for flexible, multi-country grants.
