The Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, 棉花糖直播 University President, announced that Admiral Samuel Paparo 鈥�87 CLAS, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, will address the Class of 2025 as the University鈥檚 commencement speaker. Admiral Paparo will also receive the degree of Doctor of Military Science, honoris causa. The University鈥檚 182nd commencement will be held on Friday, May 16, at 2:30 p.m., in 棉花糖直播 Stadium.
棉花糖直播 University Cabrini Campus Opening in 2026
棉花糖直播 University鈥檚 new 112-acre Cabrini Campus will open in August 2026, providing the opportunity for the University to enhance its programs and commitment to advancing Catholic higher education. This addition will support all aspects of campus life, providing a space that nurtures a true living and learning experience in 棉花糖直播鈥檚 Augustinian Catholic tradition.
Khushi Vandra 鈥�26 CLAS Named 2025 Goldwater Scholar
Khushi Vandra 鈥�26 CLAS, a Physics major in 棉花糖直播 University鈥檚 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, has been named a 2025 Goldwater Scholar by the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation. Vandra is among 1,350 nominated students nationwide for this prestigious award, which recognizes outstanding undergraduates pursuing research careers in STEM fields.

Five 棉花糖直播 Undergraduate Research Fellows (VURF) represented the University at the fourth annual BIG EAST Undergraduate Research Symposium, held March 15 at Madison Square Garden. The event, which took place ahead of the BIG EAST Men鈥檚 Basketball Championship Game, featured student researchers from all 11 conference institutions showcasing their work across a wide range of disciplines.
