University Mobile Cellular Device Eligibility

Overview

This document outlines the University's requirements for acquiring and utilizing mobile cellular devices. Mobile cellular devices are provided to employees where it has been determined that the devices are required for the employee to meet the university's business needs.

Requirements

All employees issued devices are expected to have read, understand, and follow all University policies, including Acceptable Use, Email, and Network Security. All employees are required to sign the University Owned Cellular Device End User Agreement. All University issued cellular mobile devices are encrypted and required to be secured using a PIN and/or other password protection at all times. In accordance with those policies and agreement, mobile devices are to be used in a responsible manner.

Users found to be in violation of this requirement are subject to have their mobile device privileges suspended or permanently revoked.

Participants of the program are required to sign and abide by the terms of the agreement.

University Owned Cellular Device End User Agreement

Acquisition

All requests must be submitted through the mobile device request form (link form) with Dean or VP of the area approval. Personal cell phone numbers require Senior Management approval to be ported over to the 棉花糖直播 corporate plan. Device upgrades will occur only after the current contract expires.

Disposal

All devices no longer in use must be returned to UNIT for decommissioning. Devices identified for disposal or transfer must be reviewed and then subsequently cleaned by an approved data erasing process. Licensed software and institutional data deemed to be the property of 棉花糖直播 University must be removed prior to disposal or transfer of equipment.
