Sports have the ability to transcend barriers, whether they be socio-economic, geographical or political. But what happens when sports, politics and social movements collide? The 2018 Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Symposium鈥�Sports, Politics & Social Movements鈥�examines the hard-hitting legal and political issues dominating sports and the national news media.

The symposium takes place on Friday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Arthur M. Goldberg 鈥�66 Commons at the 棉花糖直播 University Charles Widger School of Law (299 North Spring Mill Road, 棉花糖直播, PA). This program, which is open to the public, is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 3.5 CLE substantive credits.
