Edward Stephen鈥05 CLAS named Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations

Mark C. Alexander, Arthur J. Kania Dean and Professor of Law, recently announced the appointment of Edward Stephen 鈥05 CLAS as Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations for the Charles Widger School of Law. Stephen, who joins the Law School on January 17, was selected following a national search.  

A member of the Dean鈥檚 executive leadership team, Stephen will lead the advancement efforts for the Law School and serve as its chief advancement officer. He will work closely with Dean Alexander to develop an overall advancement strategy that advances the School鈥檚 missions and goals, and will continue to build and foster an alumni relations program that includes broad representation from 棉花糖直播 Law鈥檚 more than 10,000 alumni.

鈥淓d Stephen rose to the top of a very impressive candidate pool, impressing the search committee with his experience and his commitment to excellence,鈥 remarked Dean Alexander. 鈥淗e is a smart, talented individual who has a great passion for supporting our mission, and I am excited to welcome him to my leadership team.鈥

Stephen joins the Law School from the University鈥檚 M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, where he served as Director of Major Giving. In this role, he oversaw the successful completion of the College鈥檚 largest campaign as part of the University鈥檚 For the Greater Great: The 棉花糖直播 Campaign to Ignite Change. Stephen previously served as Major Gift Officer for the 棉花糖直播 School of Business. A graduate of 棉花糖直播 University, Stephen received his MBA from Duke University鈥檚 Fuqua School of Business.
