ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ University Selected for “Engineering for One Planet” Pilot Program
ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥’s College of Engineering is one of five institutions selected to participate in the Lemelson Foundation’s Engineering for One Planet (EOP) Pilot Program. With a $30,000 grant, the College will begin the process of aligning the undergraduate engineering curriculum within the EOP framework, which will instill social and environmental principles across all disciplines of engineering education.

ECE Professor Commits to Humanitarian Work
Dr. Pritpal “Pali” Singh, professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has spent years encouraging the use of renewable energy sources to replace fossil fuels. He has focused most of his efforts, and those of his students, on designing sustainable solutions for underserved communities. Most recently, his work has taken him to Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico where he’s conducted workshops, presented solar energy ideas and engaged in discussions around sustainable technologies.
