Graduate Student Spring Poster Competition

On Friday, March 23, eight 棉花糖直播 College of Engineering graduate student projects were presented as part of this semester鈥檚 Graduate Student Poster Competition. Research came from all different disciplines of engineering and covered a wide array of topics. Each project was based on research done over the past year, and was judged by faculty. Awards were presented as follows:

鈥淗ydrologic modeling in and around green infrastructure using GIS鈥� by master鈥檚 student Humaira Jahangiri, Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, advised by Dr. Virginia Smith, Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering |
| Third Place (tie): | 鈥淥n the examinations of Darcy permeability of fibrous porous material; New correlations鈥� by PhD student Zenghao Zhu, advised by Dr. Qianhong Wu, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Director of Graduate Studies 鈥淢onitoring and performance of rain gardens at the headwaters for the Jenkintown Creek鈥� by master鈥檚 student Sergio Carvajal, Civil Engineering, advised by Dr. Andrea L. Welker, PE, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs |
