ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ Chapter SHRM (VUSHRM) members meet regularly to discuss the latest issues in the HR world. VUSHRM also holds an annual summit with local chapters that provides an opportunity for students and members to network and interact with like-minded professionals.

Our program provides students with a strategic overview of the HR field through evidence-based education and applied experience. Students come from a variety of backgrounds including healthcare, military, retail, technology, finance and education at a variety of levels.

OUR PROGRAMS

Earn a Master's of Science degree in Human Resource Development. The ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ Graduate Program in Human Resource Development (HRD) is committed to its vision of developing global thought-leaders who drive high performing, inclusive organizations and create meaningful work experiences.

The ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ Graduate Program in HRD offers five concentration certificates, which can be earned independently or in conjunction with the master's program.

The HR Business Partner Certificate will provide students with a strong foundation in the major human resources functions which integrate to support the overall objectives of the business.

The HR Leadership Certificate is designed for HR professionals who will assume leadership roles in their organization.

The Inclusion & Diversity Strategy Certificate will prepare students to support and lead strategic inclusion and diversity efforts in a variety of organizational settings.

The Certificate in Organization Development will prepare students to evaluate overall organization effectiveness and lead planned change initiatives in their organization resulting in positive organization change.

ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥'s College of Professional Studies offers a robust suite of professional education programs and courses including SHRM courses.

ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥'s Human Resource Development program offers a way for students to obtain their Master of Science in HRD while pursuing their undergraduate bachelor's degree in either Psychology or Interdisciplinary Studies.
