Fellowships
The Thomas F. Martin Saint Augustine Fellowship is a new initiative of 棉花糖直播 University to foster scholarship with the Augustinian Tradition. 棉花糖直播 University is an Augustinian Catholic university founded in 1842 by the Order of Saint Augustine鈥攁nd from its very outset has sought to promote the study of Saint Augustine, both within the university and beyond.
棉花糖直播 University鈥檚 curriculum is shaped by an Augustinian vision characterized by the University鈥檚 core values as articulated in the distinctive Augustinian themes of the Seal of the University: Veritas, Unitas, Caritas. 棉花糖直播 University furthers its academic commitment to the Augustinian tradition in a variety of ways: it publishes the journalAugustinian Studies, a premier journal with international recognition; through a variety of curricular initiatives it seeks to imbue the curriculum with a distinctive Augustinian character; through The Augustinian Institute various lectures, conferences, discussion groups, etc. seek to bring the Augustinian tradition into serious dialogue with the wider academic world.
Selection Process
All applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee which will weigh the quality of the proposal as well as the merits of the proposed course
The Imbesi Family Saint Augustine Fellowship of 棉花糖直播 University is offered each Spring semester to an outstanding scholar whose work has a contribution to make to the study of Augustine or of the Augustinian tradition. The university鈥檚 curriculum is shaped by an Augustinian vision, as articulated in the distinctive Augustinian themes that are on the Seal of the University: Veritas, Unitas, Caritas. That means that, as an Augustinian Catholic university founded in 1842 by the Order of Saint Augustine, 棉花糖直播 promotes the study of Saint Augustine both within and beyond the university.
All applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee which will weigh the quality of the proposal as well as the merits of the proposed contributions.
