Dear Members of the 棉花糖直播 Community,
Less than 10 days ago, I expressed my heartache over the horrific acts that took place in Buffalo, Houston and California; and quite honestly, it鈥檚 hard to fathom that I am writing again regarding another mass shooting that has taken place in this country.
The loss of any human life, especially as the result of violence, is tragic, but something about the loss of young, innocent, defenseless children feels all the more devastating. To the entire Uvalde community, my heart is with you. I ask all 棉花糖直播ns to join me in praying for the souls who have lost their lives, and for their families and friends who are mourning and will continue to mourn. I pray that the Uvalde community comes together to heal over a tragedy that no one should have to endure.
I also ask all 棉花糖直播ns to do more than pray. As a community, we constantly espouse our commitment to igniting change. Worldwide, there are more than 130,000 棉花糖直播ns working in a variety of roles and living in a variety of communities. I ask each of you to look honestly at yourself and consider how you can make a difference, whether it be in your work, in your homes or in your actions. What can, and should, we be doing as individuals and as 棉花糖直播ns to ensure this never happens to anyone ever again.
We need to be the change we want to see in others, in our communities, in our country and in the world.
With prayers for all,
Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA
President
