The Second Degree Accelerated BSN track offers a 14-month track (BSNExpress) and a 23-month track (BSNFlex).

- Students interested in receiving a transfer credit evaluation may reach out to the 2nd Degree Enrollment Counselor, Kristin Barkdoll, at Kristin.Barkdoll@villanova.edu. Copies of transcripts are acceptable for the preliminary review.
- Remaining pre-requisites will be outlined in the evaluation process.
- Official transcripts must be submitted at the time of completed application.
- A completed online application by the deadline for your track (with a copy of your green card, if necessary).
- Application fee of $25 (nonrefundable)
- Essay: "Why are you choosing to enter the field of nursing at this time in your life or career?"
- Resume
- Two (2) letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts from all previous institutions of higher education. Request the Registrar’s Office from all colleges you have attended to forward an official transcript, You do not have to list courses in progress. High School Transcripts are NOT REQUIRED.

Other requirements as appropriate:
- TOEFL scores (international students whose degree was earned outside the United States only)
- Foreign transcript evaluations (international transcripts only)
- Course descriptions from previous colleges attended, if requested by the Program Director, Faculty or Program Coordinator.
Once all application requirements are met, (GPA 3.0 and strong science prerequisite grades), applications will be processed for review by the Admissions Commitee.
Applicants will be notified in writing of the Admission Committee's decision.

All of the above courses must be taken prior to starting the Accelerated BSN. You may apply to the program before finishing all prerequisites.
When a Second Degree applicant is admitted to the track, the transcript is reviewed for transfer of credit.
Second Degree students must fulfill similar course requirements as other students in ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ University's BSN Program. In recognition of achievement of the first undergraduate degree, the accepted student will receive transfer credit for 31 credits as general elective credits applied toward their nursing degree in addition to other required prerequisite coursework (see Prerequisites tab).
Credits for courses that have been taken at another college or university may be transferred if the course is required in the program and if the grade is "C" or above. In order to determine course equivalency, the course description from the catalog of the outside institution is compared to the course description in the ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ University catalog; course syllabi are reviewed if necessary.
