SEED GRANTS — SPORTS & PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING
The seed grant program facilitates collaboration between ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ Engineering faculty and students and ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ Athletics coaches, trainers and teams.
The idea is to pair subject-matter experts to advance novel solutions: individuals with direct knowledge of a given issue in sports or performance (Athletics) with individuals with deep technical knowledge, driven by direct application (Engineering). The program provides faculty members with awards of $10,000 to $25,000 to apply the principles of engineering to problems in sport.
