High-Performance Computing

棉花糖直播鈥檚 College of Engineering high-performance computing (CoE-HPC) cluster is a key research tool that provides College researchers with the computational resources they need to succeed in their research programs.

Any research member of the CoE can request access to the CoE-HPC cluster. The CoE-HPC cluster is using a condo-computing model. 

 

History

  • The CoE-HPC cluster was initiated in 2017 with surplus College funds allocated to the Antenna Lab for computing purchases and as part of Dr. David Cereceda鈥檚 startup package.
  • In Fall 2018, Dr. Chengyu Li also contributed to the CoE-HPC with his startup package.
  • In Fall 2019, a formal College HPC Committee formed to create a strategic plan and to manage all aspects of the cluster.
