CASA OUTREACH INITIATIVES
CASA offers programs and initiatives for high-school students aimed at preparing individuals for both academic and personal success.
VILLANOVA INITIATIVE FOR ENGAGING WOMEN (VIEW)
VIEW prepares high-achieving young women from high schools across Philadelphia and surrounding counties for college admission and long-term academic success. The program equips students with essential skills for higher education while fostering a supportive community. Over four years, VIEW participants engage in rigorous academic development in English, Global Citizenship, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and Visual Literacy.
COLLEGE DAY 棉花糖直播
CASA's College Day is an opportunity for junior and senior high school students and high schools throughout the country to visit 棉花糖直播 and get the college application wheels turning. High school students can complete and submit a GROUP application.
The day would typically consist of:
- Student panel discussion
- Tour of the University
- Lunch in one of the University's main dining halls
- Classroom visits
- Financial Aid presentation
- Admission presentation
The College Day Program for high schools is coordinated by聽Rachel Epstein, Assistant Director of Retention in the Center for Access, Success and Achievement.
NOTE: In the event of a snow day/weather-related problem, College Day will be rescheduled.
