LETTER FROM FATHER PETER

On a Solid Foundation

Ìý

Dear Friends,

From my office window in Tolentine Hall, I have the joy of watching the construction progress on the College of Engineering’s Center for Engineering Education and Research (CEER). The foundation is set, the steel framework is in place, and before long the interior spaces will begin to take shape.

In a similar way, my role affords me a view of the transformation that happens with our students, day after day, year after year. Students come to ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ at various stages of their educational journey, and they dig into the many opportunities ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ offers them to grow academically, personally and spiritually. Immersing themselves in coursework, community and campus life, they solidify the framework for the next chapter of their lives. And through these experiences, they grow wiser, more compassionate and driven to ignite change wherever life takes them.

The physical transformation of our campus as we expand and enhance our academic buildings is immediately evident, but just as impressive and impactful is the personal transformation of our students as they become even better versions of themselves. They are strengthened and supported at every step along the way, and I am continually in awe of all they achieve as they discover their own paths to rewarding lives. This view of the future gives me great hope, and I look forward to watching all of these transformations unfold.

Sincerely,
