Biography
Patrick Gallagher '06 VSB, '24 MBA joined ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ Law in fall 2023 as the associate dean for development and alumni relations after five years as the director of development for ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Over the last decade, he has become recognized for being a thoughtful and collaborative fundraiser within the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education philanthropy. Prior to his work in higher education, Gallagher served in a variety of leadership positions with advertising agencies in New York City where he worked with c-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies on their marketing campaigns. He is a seasoned philanthropic advisor and team leader with diverse career experience in finance, advertising, college athletics administration and major gift fundraising.
Gallagher received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ University in 2006, where he attended on a full athletic soccer scholarship with a concentration in marketing and finance. In addition, he holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business, where he was the recipient of the 2014 Sport Management Thesis Award, and most recently earned his MBA from ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ University’s School of Business. Gallagher was invited to serve as the 2022 commencement speaker at Middletown Area High School, his alma matter. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run Philadelphia.
He currently resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with his wife and ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ alumna, Carin, and their three boys – Benjamin, Greyson and Landon.Â
