Join us for the inaugural Health Innovation and Equity Speaker Series featuring leading scholars, practitioners and advocates addressing both longstanding and emerging issues in health law and policy.ج
Join us in-person on Monday, October 17 at 2:30 p.m. in the Robert A.J. Barry Classroom (Room 303) at John F. Scarpa Hall for the أق»¨جاض±²¥ Lecture on Health Innovation and Equity. This session will feature , the James T. Jensen Endowed Professor for Transactional Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. Prof. Contreras will talk about his book, The Genome Defense: Inside the Epic Legal Battle to Determine Who Owns Your DNA.
Later this semester, the series will feature virtual sessions on Hot Topics in Health Law and Policy. On Monday, October 24, , associate professor at Seton Hall University School of Law will discuss "Disability Law" followed by , assistant professor of law at Penn State University Dickinson Law who will discuss "Artificial Intelligence" on Monday, October 31. Please note these sessions will be held via Zoom and times are to be determined.
The series continues in Spring 2023 with Current Issues in Health Law and Policy: Practitioner's Perspective. , executive director of the Global Healthcare Innovation Alliances Accelerator (GHIAA) and an affiliate of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, will present "COVID-19 Vaccines: Technology Transfer." Additional details for this session will be provided at a later date.
